국문초록

이 책은 중국 석굴사에 관한 연구 논문을 모은 논문집이다¹⁾. 저자 숙백선생은 중국 북경대학 교수로 중화인민공화국의 성립이후부터 현재까지 중국 석굴사원을 연구하였다. 그는 1950년 이후 중국 내 석굴사원에 대한 조사과정에서 지도적인 역할을 하였을 뿐만 아니라 석굴사원에 대한 조사 그리고 문헌자료 검토라는 철저한 학문적 기초위에서 논문으로 조사 결과를 정리하였다²⁾.
