불교와 사회(The Journal of Buddhism and Society)

불교학연구원

본교는 대한불교조계종의 승가교육기관으로서 불교학 및 불교와 관련된 제반 학문분야에 대한 교육과 연구가 이루어지는 곳이다. 이미 교내에는 여러 연구기관이 있지만 활발한 연구 활동이 이루어지기 위해서는 구심점이 되는 연구기관이 필요하게 되었고, 이에 불교학을 중심으로 관련 학문분야를 포섭할 수 있는 연구기관으로 불교학연구원이 설립되었다.
